Summer vacation is here!!!

We're off on our annual Summer road trip tomorrow. This time to sunny Southern California. (Hey, times are tough in this economic climate!) So, wish my parents luck (and sleep). Here are a few recent pics to tide you over until we get back with many exciting stories to tell, I'm sure!

Family time and my special bed

We were really lucky to spend a week with my Uncle Vince, Aunty Rosana, and cousin Emily who are now on their way to Boston...to live! We already miss them :( Also along for the ride was their good friend, Paulo, from Brazil. I really *liked* Paulo (insert dreamy smile). We spent a lot of time swimming and just hanging out (pretty hot outside that week!) We were also treated to some yummy Brazilian food. We felt really lucky to get so much fun time together.

This is my special big girl bed! I got to pick out the sheets and pillows myself. I got to decorate my wall too. Grandma's Betty's blanket and pillow complete the look just right. Next we have a special princess picture to put up from Gigi, and Mom wants to make me some curtains (that should be interesting!)
